NAPSA Pharmacy Student of the Year Wildcard

At this year's NAPSA Congress in Sydney, James Grant from the University of Queensland took out the NAPSA Pharmacy Student of the Year Wildcard competition. This win has secured James's entry into the national PSA Alphapharm competition which is to be held at the Pharmacy Australia Congress in Perth later this year. 2008 National Student Business Plan Competition

The launch of the 2008 National Student Business Plan Competition was held at this years NAPSA Congress in Sydney. The competition involves small groups of students submitting a business plan for the establishment or purchase of a pharmacy. The competition aims to encourage pharmacy students to consider how they would go about structuring their own pharmacy business, producing a blueprint of that vision in the form of a business plan and ultimately, promote entrepreneurship in the community pharmacy environment.

PSA Alphapharm Pharmacy Student of the Year Competition

The PSA Alphapharm Pharmacy Student of the Year Competition recognises outstanding pharmacy students by showcasing their skills and abilities to the pharmacy profession. One student from each state plus a NAPSA wildcard entry, selected at the annual NAPSA Congress, will get the opportunity to attend the PSA's annual Pharmacy Australia Congress (PAC) and battle it out for the National title of Pharmacy Student of the Year!
