I am a Curtin University Pharmacy student, and live in the wonderful Perth Hills in WA. I've been studying pharmacy since 2014, and have loved every minute of it.
Being involved in WAPSA and NAPSA has encouraged me to attend numerous events, including Congress in the Gold Coast, Townsville and Perth, as well as travelling to national and international conferences. I was also lucky enough to sit on the NAPSA committee as the Congress Organising Committee Chair for Perth Congress 2017.
I am thrilled to be taking on the position of NAPSA IPSF Chair for the 2017/18 term. In this position I will be representing NAPSA on the world stage, sharing the awesome events that we run and bringing ideas from other countries. I will also be reigniting the student exchange program, which will allow students from all over the world to experience pharmacy in Australia.
My advice to anyone interested in NAPSA and pharmacy would be to seize every opportunity that comes your way with both hands, and to get involved in your local branch in any way possible.
